Natasha is our lead technician and has worked at Healing Paws since February 2020. She has been a technician for 11 years and certified for 9 years. She loves to spend as much time as possible at the family farm with her goats and cows. She also like to hunt, fish, hike with her French bulldog, Ollie, and attend livestock shows. Natasha was part of 4H since she was 10 years old and placed second out of 500+ kids from the east coast 2 years in a row for a livestock skillathon contest. Her team represented Pennsylvania at the national contest. Natasha’s favorite thing to do at Healing Paws are dentals and taking dental radiographs. Fun Fact: While other kids were taking drivers ed classes, Natasha was taking tractor safety classes. She also was also on the state championship potato judging team!
Victoria is a veterinary technician working in surgery and exam rooms. She has been in the veterinary field for 3 years, working at Healing Paws since March 2022. She is newly fear-free certified and enjoys the change of practice skills. She enjoys spending outdoor time with her husband hunting, fishing, camping, you name it! She also has a new interest in horse racing. She also enjoys do-it-yourself projects with her home. Victoria’s favorite thing about HPAH is how calm and welcoming we are. Dr. Carrie strives to make the best workspace for our staff and patients. She is happy to be part of such a great team! Fun Fact: Her childhood name was “worm”. When she was little, she would chase her younger brother around with worms for entertainment. The nickname carried through to her high school and travel softball teams.
Emily has been a veterinary technician for 8 years and 4 of those years at Healing Paws. Emily worked 2 ½ years in shelter medicine and the rest in general practice. Emily is fear-free certified with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She is mom to 2 years old twins and stepmom to a 6-year-old daughter. She loves spending time with them as well as her new Doberman puppy, Ruger. She also enjoys spending time on her farm with the chickens and goats as well as her husband, Kyle. Fun Fact: The top 3 ways to Emily’s heart are food, iced coffee, and blankets!
Amanda has worked at Healing Paws since May 2021. She started in veterinary medicine in 1998 (longer than some of her team members have been alive 😊). She is currently a surgery and exam room tech and is starting a new role of lead Client Service Specialist. Amanda has traveled to Europe singing for American Music Abroad. She loves to be creative whether it is painting, restoring furniture, or decorating/organizing her home. She also participates in craft shows and has a jewelry stand at Building Character in Lancaster City. She truly believes that Healing Paws is a family. We are all here for the same purpose to help and care for our patients. Fun Fact: she enjoys working with all women because she is surrounded at home with a husband, 4-year-old son, and 3 male cats.
Cassie is a certified Veterinary technician that joined Healing Paws in April 2022. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2017. Cassie started as an assistant in emergency medicine than became a technician once she completed her schooling and decided to switch to general practice in the fall of 2021. Cassie is also certified in veterinary CPR. She enjoys weightlifting, watching football (go Steelers!), and spending time with her nephew. She also loves her cattle dog even when she can be a little crazy! Cassie loves that HPAH is fear-free so that we don’t push our patients too far and are considerate of how they feel. Fun Fact: You will rarely hear Cassie sneeze just once. Typically, it is more.
Libby joined our team in October 2022 as a Client Service Specialist. She is native to Lancaster County. When she is not at work, she loves to bake, paint and hike. Her family has a passion for cars, so she often spends her free time at car shows. Her favorite thing about working at Healing Paws is that we are fear-free. She feels it is more comfortable for pets and their owners. Fun Fact: Libby has a pet Axolotl whose name is Axl. She enjoys taking care of her quirky pet!
